Sally is a 500 hr registered yoga teacher originally from Vancouver, Canada where she taught full time before setting her sights further. Incorporating her love of adventure and yoga, she traveled the world for a year, teaching and exploring until settling in Nicaragua late 2015 and more recently Costa Rica. She now splits her time between Nicaragua/Costa Rica, Asia, and Canada teaching retreats, teacher trainings and public classes. 

Sally initially found yoga in 2007 to compliment her various athletic endeavors, but soon discovered the effects of the practice reached far beyond physical benefits. Realizing quickly that yoga was becoming more than a hobby, and feeling a strong need to share her passion, she attended her first 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia through Vancouver based Prana Yoga Teacher College in 2010. After her return to Vancouver, she dove into teaching full time and continued her education by attending various teacher trainings in the city including Clara Roberts-Oss’ Lila Vinyasa and a trauma informed Yoga Outreach immersion, widening her ability to teach Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative and Hatha yoga. In 2015 her thirst for more knowledge brought her to India, where she spent time in Ashrams, learning from guru's who taught her a more traditional approach to yoga which complimented her grasp of how yoga is practised in the western world. Soon after, she made the trip back to Bali to complete a 500hr teacher training with Exhale Yoga, learning advanced vinyasa from teacher Mathieu Boldron, Yin, anatomy and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Annie Au, and Philosophy from Dr. Ganesh Rao. 

Dynamic, creative, sweaty and sweet, her classes range from Vinyasa to Restorative and Yin and are designed to leave you feeling lovingly rinsed out, mentally clear and physically stronger and longer. With importance on alignment and safety, she encourages her students to continually investigate the physical body and mental state with each breath with the hope that students leave class feeling happier, healthier and fully equipped with tools to take their practice off of the mat and into every day life.
